Bejay’s Start

I was born into a medical family. My father was a general practitioner we had his office in one half of our house. I learned a lot from my father as a child concerning confidentiality related to patients, the emotional components of illness, and the limitations of pharmaceuticals. My entire life was spent in some aspect of healing. I was a candy striper in a hospital in my teens and worked in cardiac research at the University of Pennsylvania after college. Following completion of my MBA in Health & Medical Science, I worked in development at a large tertiary teaching hospital (Crozer Chester Medical Center) near Philadelphia. One aspect of my job was writing grants for burn care, hospice, elderly care, addiction, and other hospital departments learning quite a bit in the process. When I attended the Barbara Brennen School of Healing I knew in my soul that energy healing was the reason I was on the planet. Following graduation I began my full time healing practice and I have loved every day!

Bejay’s History

I became interested in energy healing when I worked in cardiac electrophysiology research at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia Pa. The laboratory’s focus was sudden cardiac death and studied the electrical “disconnection” which contributed to arrhythmias. This was studied both in body and in cellular microelectrode studies. I was curious about the large “Faraday cage” which surrounded the microscope. I asked why that was necessary and the answer was “to keep out the ambient energy.” What was the “ambient energy” I asked. “We don’t know exactly, but it affects that single cell in the microelectrode bath!” My curiosity was piqued and I began a quest to learn all I could about “ambient energy.”

My quest led me to the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, a 4 year program in energy healing as challenging as my MBA in Health and Medical Science Administration and my MS in Long Term Care. We were tested each week throughout the training, had to be in energy psychotherapy (to remove the blocks in our own field) and in the 4th year we had to do a medical case presentation as well as write a thesis. Next I studied Core Energetics, another 4 year program, related to how defense patterns developed in childhood create similar situations throughout our life. Not only are the defenses and blocks in the emotional and mental body but are anchored in the physical body as well. Finally I finished my training with the Pathwork Transformation Program, which is another 4 year program which helps to realize aspects of our individual personality, ego, spiritual self and universal consciousness. It helps to knock down our defenses so that we can see and accept reality, which I felt made me a “clearer” healer.

I have been self employed as a “full time” healer in Chico, CA for 20 years. I feel that I am here on the planet to serve in this fashion, having a joy, rather than a job. I have helped hundreds of clients in coming to their health, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Chakras

Energy healing works with the seven main chakras in the body on all levels of the energy field, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Root Chakra

This chakra is also known as the base chakra. It is the chakra which grounded us into the earth. It deals with the body’s survival, including food, shelter and protection. It relates to the legs, bones, adrenal glands, colon, kidneys and spinal column.

Sacral Chakra

This chakra relates to self love, creativity and sexuality. It influences the sexual organs, reproduction and fertility.

Solar Plexus Chakra

This chakra supports the digestive system, liver, pancreas, stomach, and gallbladder. It also is related to one’s essence and power in life.

Heart Chakra

This chakra is where the lower three chakras related to the higher spiritual body converge. It supports the heart, the lungs, the breasts, the thymus, and the emotional heart.

Throat Chakra

This chakra supports the mouth, teeth, throat and thyroid gland. It is related to speaking one’s truth.

Third Eye Chakra

This chakra nourishes the eyes, vision, nose, central nervous system, brain and pituitary gland. It also allows intuition, visualization, concentration and imagination.

Chakra Balancing

If a chakra is closed or not fully open, this does not allow the universal energy to flow through it properly which can lead to “dis-ease.” If you have a traumatic or stressful experience, a chakra can close to block the pain. Having an energy healing which opens and balances the chakras helps one to “flow” better with the universal energy, creating health and well-being.
